The Somali Federal Government’s Council of Ministers held their weekly meeting today, focusing on a recent attack in the Raaskambooni area, which Ahmed Madobe has been accused of orchestrating.
The Council established a special committee to investigate the nature of the relationship between Ahmed Madobe and armed groups operating in the region. Deputy Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Abdirahman Sheikh Yusuf (Al-Adala), briefed the press, strongly condemning Ahmed Madobe’s actions against the Somali National Army. The Council labeled the attack as an irresponsible act requiring accountability.
The Cabinet also emphasized that the investigation would be thorough and transparent, warning that similar actions could have serious consequences, undermining national unity and security.
